  • Operate and maintain CNC and Manual machining center
  • The operator are responsible in preparing the machine for efficient operation by ensuring the use of appropriate tools and making certain that the tools used are functional.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand part tolerances per print specification
  • Must be able to identify material types and thicknesses as associated to Work Orders
  • Must be able to safely handle materials
  • Understand proper start-up and shut-down of machining centers.
  • Work in accordance to established safety rules and good housekeeping practices
  • Work on additional equipment or tasks outside the job description as directed by the Floor Supervisor for production needs or continuous improvement
  • Accurately record time and production numbers daily/report scrap

Requirements

  • Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as needed
  • Experience with CNC machine operation preferred but not required
  • Must be able to use overhead cranes, basic hand tools- tape measure, calipers, micrometers, grinders etc
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand part tolerances per print specification 

Midnight shift runs from 10:30pm until 7:00 am. Ability to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends as needed

Painter/Production(Leetsdale area) General Paint parts for various government contracts, outside customers, etc. using air powered spray gun. View Job

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mix paint
  • Paint parts with speed and accuracy
  • Able to pay particular attention to detail (ie, edges, hard to reach areas)
  • Track paint usage in CARC paint logs
  • Monitor gauges to ensure proper pressure
  • Knowledge of Zahn procedures
  • Chart tracking

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for equipment, air hoses, spray guns, etc.
  • Cleaning and maintaining Booth
  • Wear proper safety equipment (respirators, air hoses, and steel toe boots)

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of air powered spray gun, mixing procedures and Zahn Charts a plus.
  • Able to adjust fan spray to desired angles and gauges to proper pressure.
  • Able to paint parts while paying particular attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining speed.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and prioritize the engineering, manufacturing and production activities with input from customers and others within the organization.

Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.

Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project.

Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.

Execute the project according to the project plan.

Develop forms and records to document project activities.

Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.

Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Program management coordinates and prioritizes resources across projects, managing links between the projects and the overall costs and risks of the program.

Must be able to engage and select outside vendors as necessary and coordinate their abilities into the program deliverables.

Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.

Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DOD Experience (preferred);

  • Electrical & Mechanical aptitude (engineering degree preferred);

  • Secret Clearance (preferred);

  • PMI and PgMP certification (preferred);

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills;

  • Strong analytical, organizational, follow-up and planning skills;

  • Excellent ability to identify and proactively solve problems;

  • Ability to work under pressure and work overtime on short notice;

  • Very proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word
